A huge part of the Sellwood Band's success is our team of lesson teachers.
The band program provides students in Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Band group
lessons during their regular band period at least once per quarter, and Jazz Band students
have sectionals bi-weekly (ramping up to weekly during festival/competition season).
Private lessons, while not required, are highly encouraged. Our sectional teachers are all
master private lesson teachers and are highly recommended, along with the additional private
lesson teachers listed below.
